Website design & redesign

Give customers
the full picture

Starting with your first site

We turn your knowledge of the business into the pages, examples and answers customers need before reaching out.

Reworking an existing site

We identify what to keep, what no longer reflects your work and where the path to an inquiry needs attention.

Pages, content, features and launch work are defined in your proposal.

The work behind the pages

Decisions before
decoration

Your market, your customers’ questions and what the site needs to help them do.

Understand the market

I review competitors and customers’ search questions to decide what the site needs to explain. Someone comparing providers needs different information from someone ready to request a visit.

For Foster Place, market research and the owner’s priorities shaped the apartment website’s new content structure.

Give each page a purpose

I organize services around the decisions customers need to make, with descriptive headings and links between related pages.

Paisante’s redesign separates residential and commercial needs so each audience can find the relevant offer.

Show what the work involves

Your answers, photos and real project material give customers something specific to evaluate. These fictional concepts show three ways to explain a service:

Check how the site works

I check mobile layouts, loading, navigation and forms. Page titles, headings and links describe the content; relevant structured data helps search engines interpret it.

Technical work follows the agreed scope. Search foundations support discovery, without promising a ranking.

Make contact straightforward

I keep business details, services and service areas consistent, place contact links beside useful information, and ask only for the context needed to start a conversation.

Agree on what to measure

When measurement is included, we choose the visits and actions worth reviewing. Search data helps explain how people find a page; inquiry activity helps us assess the contact path. A click alone is not a customer.

Analytics, reporting and ongoing improvements are scoped in the proposal.

Optional ongoing care

Keep the site
in step

Maintenance, content updates and agreed improvements as your business changes. We agree on the support you need.

What to expect

Your site is yours

For a one-time project, everything is set up under your own accounts: domain, hosting and the site itself. With ongoing care, I manage the site for you; if we stop working together, you get full access to move it wherever you want.

What I’ll need from you

Your knowledge of the business, plus the photos, logo and details the pages need. For a redesign, much of it already exists. If something is missing, I’ll ask as we go.

Where I work

Based in Massachusetts, working on Eastern Time with businesses across the U.S.

How we meet

After your first email, we’ll pick what works for you: a video call, a phone call or meeting in person.

Working together

A clear sequence.
Room for your input

  1. Start with the situation

Tell me what needs attention. I reply by email; we arrange a conversation if useful.

  2. Agree on the priorities

We define the scope, page structure and wording before building out the design.

  3. Review the working pages

We review content, design, navigation and contact on phones and larger screens.

  4. Plan the handoff

We agree on the next steps and any continued support as part of the scope.

Something else
in mind?

Visual identity for Instagram or Facebook, or a website need you don’t see here? Describe it. I’ll assess whether I can help and scope the work with you.

Ongoing profile management requires its own scope.
